Manifatture Toscane Ta-Bru S.p.A. is an Italian textile company specializing in the production of high-quality fabrics. For years, it has been a trusted partner for leading international brands in the fashion, leather goods, footwear, and interior and outdoor furnishing sectors.
Ta-Bru’s extensive production includes woven materials, olone, linings, jacquard fabrics, and other specialty textiles, developed using distinctive yarns such as straw, jute, and linen, alongside more traditional materials like cotton, polyester, and technical fibers.
One of the company’s defining strengths is the full in-house management of the production process. Manufacturing takes place within the company’s facilities, organized into specialized departments that oversee, weaving, in its various forms, dobby and jacquard looms, dyeing, finishing and refinishing processes and, for certain types of yarn, even spinning.
This combination of manufacturing tradition, technological innovation, and continuous research enables Ta-Bru to ensure full control of the supply chain, fast and efficient service, high flexibility in product development, and the achievement of the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Artisanal Roots,
Industrial Vision
During the 1950s economic boom, this artisanal activity gradually evolved into an industrial enterprise. This marked the birth of Manifatture Toscane Ta-Bru, where “Ta-Bru” is derived from the initials of its founder, Brunetto Targioni.

Evolution through
cutting-edge tecnhology
Recognizing the potential of weaving, Franco progressively expanded the company’s expertise and developed an increasingly solid and structured organization, capable of evolving alongside market demands. Ta-Bru quickly grew to become one of the leading textile manufacturers in the leather goods, accessories, and furnishing sectors. Today, the most prestigious international brands rely on the company for its ability to develop a wide range of textiles, including heavy fabrics, olone canvas, jacquard fabrics, straw and blended fiber weaves, customized linings, and special processes.
In recent years, alongside Franco, his son Alessandro and his cousins Brunetto and Barbara—together with the newest generation recently joining the company—have further strengthened the business. Following the acquisition and integration of MTS Srl, a company specialized in fabric finishing and coating, Ta-Bru has completed its production process and reinforced its direct control over the entire supply chain.
